I am disappointed for today's news about Grooveshark closing its website for music and all that stuffs we want to hear from every artists and bands.
Obviously as you can see, they closed the website due to fail of securing licenses from the right holders' music.
I was just wondering why all that 10 years, Grooveshark was able to share and compile all the music without being apprehended. Why now? Is it because of being famous?
One thing goes to my mind is "crab mentality". A mentality to which one does not accept others to be promoted or to improve in which this person finds a way to stop that. Similar to tax collecting. When a company booms, there goes the tax collectors. When a company is small time, it's a no-no for these tax collectors.
I know some of you are thinking the "what ifs". Keep reading.
What if I were in the same position to which my music is borrowed without my permission and suddenly I just saw it in one website?
Simple. All I need to do is tell that company or website to have my own share because that is my music. Simple as that! How hard could that be?
Anyways, we will miss Grooveshark. It is like no other website for music and all. Farewell Grooveshark!
