When it comes to pets, most of the people love to have dogs or cats at home because of their cuteness and being lovable to their respective owners. We frequently play with them, feed them their favorite treats, hug them like it's a teddy bear, treating them as a part of the family, and more. These cuties are the most adorable pets yet in the world to be owned. But not all people have the same interests with others. There are other people who love to take care of tigers, crocodiles, gorillas, panthers, and more. This article is about a beautiful teacher from the Philippines who owns three snakes at home.
Meet Kheny Berco of Bacolod City, an elementary teacher. She owns three snakes which are all located inside her house where they will be safe from the people outside and vice versa. Her favorite snake is a ball python in which she named it as "Damia". This snake grows long up to 3 feet in length.
As a snake lover, she treats them as if they are also considered as family members. She even reads a story to them before leaving the house to work. They are also sometimes wrapped around her neck while she prepares coffee everyday. Good thing the snake doesn't like coffee. She claims that her snakes have no venom and that is the reason why she allows them to move freely inside her room; especially on her bed. She also mentioned that the snakes are even on her face when she wakes up.
As for Kheny, she said that if the snake is not familiar with your smell, they might bite you. So the best thing to do is to always be on the snake's side and pet it everyday. She also said that if a snake bites you, that is the time you'll know that it loves you because it's their first kiss.
Oh, no way. No way. If it bites me, I think that would be the last kiss I'll ever have in my life.
The reason why Kheny is not afraid of the snakes is because she loves reptiles since she was at the age of 5. She was even catching lizards inside their home and throws it to her friends. I thought it was a snake she was throwing.
